NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Police in New Bern are investigating after a person was shot a number of instances this morning.

Officers received a ShotSpotter alert round 11:28 this morning to the realm of Raynor Drive.

Once they arrived, they discovered the person wounded by gunfire.

The person was taken by EMS to CarolinaEast Medical Heart earlier than being flown to ECU Well being Medical Heart in Greenville.
