GCS CHAIR DEENA HAYES SAYS THE COUNTY DOES HAVE VEHICLES TO GENERATE REVENUE, BUT THE COMMISSION CHAIR SAYS IT’S NOT AS SIMPLE AS IT SOUNDS. THE COUNTY HAS A VEHICLE TO MEET ITS BUDGET THAT WE DON’T HAVE, AND THAT’S TAXING AUTHORITY. AND WE WE ALL KNOW WHERE THIS, YOU KNOW, DOMINOES STARTED AND IT STARTED AT THE STATE.
