Capt. Curtis Jack Naked Sr., U.S.M.C. retired, 89, went dwelling to be with the Lord on June 16, 2026.
He was born April 14, 1937, to the late Jack and Emma Naked.
Abandoning to honor and cherish Curtis’ life and legacy are his loving spouse of 68 years, Susie Naked; youngsters, Vickie Barding (Tim), Cindy Schauer (Bob), and Curtis Naked Jr. (Helen); grandchildren, Kenny Barding, Patrick Barding (Terri), Erica Barding, Christina Martin (Issac), Joey Schauer, Curtis “CJ” Naked III, and Matthew Naked (Meagen); great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Kate, Lula Claire, Bailey Ann, Mabry Lynn, Maelynn Louise, Avery Grace, Miles Efland, and Julian; and lots of loving members of the family and shut pals.
Curtis was preceded in demise by his brothers and sisters.
The household will obtain guests from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, at First Methodist Church in Havelock. A funeral service will start at 11 a.m. with full army honors following the service. Later within the day, Curtis can be laid to relaxation at Greenleaf Memorial Park. The service can be reside streamed on the church’s YouTube and Fb pages.
In lieu of flowers, the household request that donations be made in Curtis’ honor to First Methodist Church of Havelock or the Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity at crystalcoasthabitat.org.
