Roses and American flags had been positioned on every of the over 7,000 graves as a part of the Veterans Council of Craven County’s Memorial Day ceremony.
The occasion included an invocation, the presentation of the nationwide colours, the singing of the nationwide anthem, a wreath-laying ceremony, and the sounding of faucets.
Barbara Probability, chairman of the Veterans Council of Craven County, stated the ceremony is a chance to honor those that have sacrificed all the things.
