Advertise With UsCRAVEN COUNTY, NC — A New Bern lady already on probation is dealing with a number of felony drug prices following a joint investigation by native legislation enforcement and probation officers.
On January 6 the Craven County Sheriff’s Workplace Particular Investigation Bureau executed a search warrant at a residence positioned on Connie Lee Drive in New Bern. The Sheriff’s Workplace reported that North Carolina Probation and Parole officers have been conducting a probation search on the residence once they found unlawful narcotics, prompting the search warrant.
Through the search, investigators seized roughly two kilos of marijuana, together with THC wax, THC vape pens, and THC edibles, based on the Sheriff’s Workplace.
Consequently, Genesis Gabriella Rivera-Torres, 20, who resides on the dwelling, was arrested and charged with:

- 4 felony counts of possession of a Schedule VI managed substance
- One felony depend of sustaining a dwelling for the sale of a managed substance
- One misdemeanor depend of possession of marijuana paraphernalia
- One felony probation violation
Authorities mentioned Rivera-Torres was already on probation for felony trafficking of a Schedule I managed substance and felony possession with intent to promote a Schedule VI managed substance on the time of the arrest.
