The New Bern Board of Aldermen will meet on June 16, 2026, at 9 a.m. within the Stanley A. White Recreation Middle at 601 Third Ave., New Bern, NC.
The board of aldermen will contemplate adopting ordinance amendments for the Multi-Yr Grants Fund, 2019 Electrical Enhancements Mission Fund, 212 Kale Street Mission Fund, Entitlement Cities CDBG Grant Fund, Drainage Enhancements Mission Fund, and the Hurricane Florence Fund, in accordance with the assembly agenda and packet here.
They may also contemplate adopting the ultimate funds ordinance for FY 2026 and obtain updates on public security, normal obligation bonds, division tasks, financial improvement, and the electrical advert hoc committee.
The agenda says they may focus on income bonds for enterprise funds (like electrical and water/sewer); metropolis boards and commissions, strategic plan, and proposed ordinance updates.
