Alice Lee was educated as a nurse and labored in healthcare for over 30 years. In her formative years in Pollocksville she was a little bit of a renegade, driving horses and bikes. You can discover her climbing timber or in a yard scuffle. Alice Lee was typically a power to be reckoned with. Alice Lee was a loyal spouse, mom and grandmother. Her nurturing prolonged to virtually Y’all with whom she got here into contact. Her household would describe her as “loving and humorous” with an infectious chortle. She additionally had a love for animals: a horse named Misty, and two canines, Snoopy and Shadow. As an avid fan of the Duke Blue Devils, you can typically discover her cheering from the sofa or yelling on the tv. Even later in life Alice Lee remained a renegade, rafting the waters of Pidgeon Ford, and zip-lining via the Appalachian Mountains. She lived courageously and totally. The world misplaced a caring soul, however heaven gained an angel.
Grateful for her life and persevering with in her reminiscence are her beloved husband of 18 years Gilbert Keech, kids Stephanie Szkaradnik, Christopher Szkaradnik and Jamie Baker, grandchildren Amy, Henry, Charlotte, Atticus and Leyla, Sisters Betty Jo Beddard, Barbara (and Kenneth) Collins and Pamela (and Invoice) Pope, and a number of other nieces and nephews.
The household will obtain buddies on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Cotten Funeral Dwelling, 2201 Neuse Blvd., New Bern, NC 28560 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
