This Thursday evening, the Oriental History Museum, located in the charming town of Oriental, will host a special installment of its “Evening at the Museum Speaker Series” at 6:30 PM. The spotlight will be on author and photographer Ben Casey, who will share his incredible adventures documented in his book, All In One River, detailing his journey down the entire 240 miles of the Neuse River from Raleigh to Pamlico Sound.

For residents of New Bern and surrounding areas, the Neuse River is more than just a waterway – it’s a defining feature of our landscape, history, and daily life.
